Guys, I've been excited about things in the past, but this is pretty darn amazing.
In addition, everything I post on Patreon is (or will be) free,
so you don't have to give me money to enjoy it.
I tried to pull off an active Patreon account couple years ago, but it flopped pretty badly, at least partially because I didn't have the time for it, and mostly because I wasn't putting enough effort into setting aside time for creating content. I like to blame my full-time job for that, but if I'd been determined enough, I would have made it happen anyway.
And now here I am. I'm on Patreon, I've got a podcast, I'm writing short stories and blog posts, I'm editing for ODAM Publishing (seriously, go check them out - their tabletop games are amazing), I'm working on revamping last year's NaNoWriMo novel (more on that later), and for my day-job, I get to work with animals every evening.
Life is pretty darn amazing, and even if I have what amounts to 4 part-time jobs, I've never been happier with my work.
1. Editor (very satisfying)
2. Writer (what I love)
3. Podcaster (fun and challenging)
4. Kennel Tech (love animals, enjoy cleaning)
Oh, and in case you thought I wasn't doing enough, you can also find me weekly over on Catawampus Reviews for book reviews and reflections on life, literacy, and everything.
You guys are amazing, and you're what makes all this possible. A writer without an audience is nothing more than a noise in the void. Take care of yourselves, and remember that you're worth every bit of effort that goes into this. Don't let anyone tell you different.
Comments and feedback are always welcome! Let me know how I can do better!
